Welcome to Nicky’s Thai Kitchen
Dine-In service charges apply to dine-in ordeders only. Dine-In parties of 9 or fewer are charged a pre-tax 20% (18.7% after tax) Dine-In parties of 10 or more are charged a pre-tax 25% (23.4% after tax) 100% of the service charge goes to our service team. Since we have the service charge, tips are not necessary, but welcome, and 100% of tips go to our service team We are very proud of all the hard work and dedication from our team at Nicky's Thai Kitchen. Our team is like family and are all paid above average for the restaurant industry. Our servers also receive an hourly rate of $7+/hr in addition to all the service charges and any tips. With the recent spread of clover point-of-sale systems at places around the country in many different industries, tipping became asked for at point-of-sale systems from fast casual restaurants without servers to take out cafes, convenience stores, etc. to the point that the traditions of tipping have changed dramatically in the past few years. We also welcome many of our guests from places in the world where tipping is not a custom and service charges are the norm. These are some of the reasons that the servers have decided that a service charge is a better method instead of tips. Our service team also helps each other out in a cooperative supportive manner as they all share the service charge and want to bring the best experience to our guests.
